Dayara Bugyal is one of the most beautiful alpine meadows in India, located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. Sitting at an altitude of around 3,600 meters, this trek offers vast rolling grasslands, dense oak and rhododendron forests, and breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks like Bandarpoonch and Srikanth Peak.
The trail is known for its gentle gradients and spectacular landscapes, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced trekkers. Throughout the journey, trekkers witness changing terrains, charming mountain villages, and expansive meadows that seem to stretch endlessly into the horizon.

Altitude: 7,000 ft
Distance: 200 km drive (approx. 8-9 hours)
Highlights: A scenic drive passing through Mussoorie, Uttarkashi, and along the Bhagirathi River. Enjoy the stunning views of mountain landscapes.
Stay: Overnight in a guesthouse at Raithal.
Day 2Raithal to Gui Campsite

Distance: 4 km trek (approx. 3-4 hours)
Highlights: Trek through lush oak and pine forests, with the majestic Gangotri range in the backdrop.
Stay: Camping under the stars at Gui Campsite.
Day 3Gui to Dayara Top and back to Gui

Altitude: 8,400 ft to 11,181 ft and back
Distance: 10 km trek (approx. 7-8 hours)
Highlights: Reach the summit of Dayara Bugyal, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Black Peak, and other snow-clad peaks. Experience the vast alpine meadows, a winter wonderland during the snowy season.
Stay: Return to Gui Campsite for overnight camping.
Day 4Gui to Raithal to Rishikesh

Altitude: 8,400 ft to 7,000 ft
Distance: 4 km trek (approx. 3-4 hours) + 200 km drive (approx. 8-9 hours)
Highlights: A final descent through the beautiful forests to Raithal, followed by a drive back to Rishikesh.
Stay: Arrival in Rishikesh and stay

Enjoy a full day in Rishikesh to relax and rejuvenate. Participants will go for Rafting in the morning, enjoy some shopping and cafe hopping and then go for Ganga Aarti in the evening.
Day 6Departure from Rishikesh

After breakfast, bid farewell to Rishikesh. Depending on your onward travel plans, you can head back to Dehradun or continue your journey to other destinations. Carry with you the memories of the trek and the serene moments spent amidst nature!
